Step 1: Introduction

If you are interested in enrolling with Dr. Bradford, all perspective patients may book a complimentary 15-minute call or video session with Dr. Bradford to engage in a brief assessment, determine if we might be a 'good fit' clinically, and answer any initial questions you might have.

Step 2: Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation

A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation will be our first point of contact. In this 90-minute session, we will cover a variety of topics including your mental, behavioral, and spiritual wellness goals, symptoms you might be struggling with, review past medical and family history -- in essence, we will explore what it is like to be YOU!

At the end of the initial psychiatric evaluation, we will explore treatment strategies and create a wellness plan that works for you.

Step 3: Continued Psychiatric Management

Whether you are coming with one or more psychiatric medications from a previous prescriber, starting a new medication trial, or working towards coming off medications safely, Dr. Bradford offers medication management sessions to monitor your progress with these treatments.

Psychiatric medications, while effective when used appropriately, can also present with unwanted side effects or habit-forming properties. Dr. Bradford will ensure that whatever medication treatment plan you are on, you are monitored for safety and efficacy.

Alternatively, your treatment plan may include non-pharmacologic strategies which can be reviewed and revised based on response.

New patients are required to schedule medication management sessions on a monthly basis for the first 3 months as we are getting acquainted. Subsequent sessions can be scheduled every 3 or 6 months, thereafter.
